One of the things I love most about working at Dale James & Co is the passion we all share for education. I have the privilege of helping train our apprentices outside salon hours, and it is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Watching their confidence grow, seeing new skills click into place and celebrating those little milestones reminds me why I fell in love with hairdressing in the first place.
Every week our apprentices spend additional time developing their skills through hands on training, cutting workshops, colouring techniques, product knowledge and consultations. Seeing our apprentices grow from nervous beginners into talented, confident young hairdressers is one of the greatest rewards of what we do. After all, today's apprentice is tomorrow's trusted stylist, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of that journey.

Ruby Lee is one of the rising stars of the Dale James & Co team and recently celebrated six months as a Senior Hairdresser. Her passion for hair, dedication to client care and attention to detail have quickly made her a favourite with clients looking for a relaxing and personalised salon experience. Ruby Lee has a particular love for creating healthy, beautiful hair through professional treatments.
She specialises in Nanoplasty and smoothing treatments, helping clients achieve smoother, shinier and more manageable hair. She also enjoys all aspects of colouring, from subtle refreshes to complete transformations, and is known for her beautiful blow waves that leave hair looking polished and full of life.
What truly sets Ruby Lee apart is her exceptional customer service. She takes the time to listen, understand her clients’ goals, and ensure every appointment feels special. Her warm personality, gentle approach, and eye for detail make clients feel genuinely looked after, pampered, and spoilt from the moment they sit in her chair.
