Having grown up in the salon and with a Dad as passionate about hair as Dale it’s surprising hairdressing wasn’t a birthright. A late starter in the world of hairdressing I first followed my artistic passion in music completing a postgraduate degree in classical singing at WAAPA. Yes, I’m also an opera singer.
Over the course of my degree and time on stage I discovered my passion for makeup artistry. From stage to style I am now the salons senior makeup artist, specializing in creating styles based on individual face shape and features to ensure your best look. Not stopping there, and always wanting more I ventured into world of hair dressing, making the salon floor my new stage.
After a lifetime of being around the salon, I am now able to put my creative mind to practice having become a senior stylist at Dale James. I can create any style I envisage and I love all aspects of hairdressing. My specialties are colouring, styling, and hair extensions. However, I absolutely love creating a total look for my clients from head to toe.
